By the end of our project you will have a fully custom designed and unique website for your business.

Custom service

This service is fully customized with your business at the centre. You’ll receive a Brand Guideline, a unique colour palette and font system, main logo with submarks and two collateral items (ie. business card, social media assets or letterhead) to ensure your brand is translating consistently on multiple platforms.

Branding

Visual Identity work is included in the estimated price. If your business has recently gone through a rebrand with a professional designer, we can talk about this more. A cohesive visual identity ensures that your website is built on strong visual foundations and will communicate your brand and values to your audience.

Timeline and Investment varies with scope.

Onboarding process

Establish that we are a good match

Check out the Working Together page to see if we will be a good match. We will work well together if you are committed to the process, excited about your business and are able to put your trust in me by giving me creative freedom according to your vision.

Discovery call

During our initial call my aim is to learn more about you and your business, what services your business would benefit from and what timeline will work for both of us. I will use this information to prepare your proposal

Booking

Once we’ve formed the initial connection and agreed on a start date, I will send you a proposal for your approval, you’ll receive your contract, followed by an invoice for the 50% retainer. The non-refundable retainer is due before any work begins and is required to secure your spot in my calendar.

Before I get started on any website design, I will create wireframes. Wireframes are a static, greyscale version of your website. They allow us to focus on the structure, without getting carried away by details.

A big part of how well your website functions is related how legible your content is. I will spend time exploring the best way to present your message, making sure that it showcases well on large screens and phones.

We'll see your project through to completion. After your site is live we will work through a training session together to make sure you're comfortable updating content as your company grows.

Wireframes

After I have received the full content from you, we’ll do some essential planning to create a structure for your website. The wireframes will consider the functionality of every page and serve as a guide for creating hierarchy within your page designs. This ensures customers have easy access to the information they want to see the most.

Custom Design

Using the wireframes and content you supplied I will create a fully custom website for you. I use both Webflow and Squarespace as a building platform, and we will decide together which one suits your project best.

Webflow or Squarespace?

Good news for you, I specialize in both! Both platforms have their benefits for different purposes. Together we will explore what your website needs are and decide on which platform suits you most. I will take your company growth into consideration to ensure that you’re set up for the success, even a few years from now.

Support

If you need someone to calm your nerves during the exciting final launch phase—I’m here for you! Before launching, we’ll have a few video calls so you can learn how to use and maintain your website. I don’t limit these sessions because I believe you deserve to be supported until you feel fully confident.

Money

Do you offer payment plans?

All projects require a 50% retainer at the time of booking, with the remaining 50% due before website or brand launch. If you would like the payment plan to be different please reach out to me and we can work something out!

Why do I have to pay a deposit?

I book projects a few months in advance. Paying a retainer, along with signing your contract before the start date guarantees your spot in my calendar. This way I know when we’ll be working together and I am able to dedicate my time and attention to your project. This also gives you a little bit of time to finalize your content for your new website or brand.

Do I need to book in advance?

Yes! I’m never able to start a project with less than 2 weeks notice, I’m usually fully booked one month in prior to any start date.

Process & Content

Do I need to have my content and images ready before the project starts?

Absolutely! You must have all content ready to go before our project start date. Failure to deliver your content on time will result in a rescheduling fee and a delayed start date.

What happens if I don't have my content ready to go?

Once you’ve paid your deposit to book your spot but then fail to complete your project homework or aren’t able to deliver the website content to me, your start date will be pushed to my next available spot. You will also be required to pay a 50% rescheduling fee and will lose your initial deposit.

Can you work faster?

Maybe. There are some projects that can have a faster turn-around time, if both you and me work together closely and follow a very tight schedule. If you require a rushed project please get in touch with me so we can see what’s possible. Please note for rushed projects there will likely be a rush fee added to your invoice.
